Jon P. Reid is the President for ELK Benefit Strategies. Jon is responsible for company growth and strategy, new revenue generation, strategic relationship development, product development and PBM relationships.
Jon founded ELK Benefit Strategies based on the need for delivering a highly tailored, proactive, cost effective and practical approach to benefit consulting. ELK Benefit Strategies mission is to bring creative, long lasting, strategic solutions to providers, employers, brokers, consultants, and other strategic partners assistance to drive down cost while focusing on proactivity staying pace with the benefits industry. Prior to starting ELK Benefit Strategies, Jon served as a senior sales leader, individual sales contributor, and operational executive throughout the employee benefits marketspace with a focus on pharmacy benefits management (PBM). With this work, Jon built and led sales organizations, led marketing initiatives, oversaw the full sales process, orchestrated growth strategy, managed integral industry relations, and served as an SME in all things employee benefits with the likes of Elixir (Rite Aid/EnvisionRxOptions), OptumRx, Combined Insurance, HMC Healthworks and EBS.
Jon holds a Master of Business Administration degree, from Florida Atlantic University and was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Marquette University
Charity A. Rausch PharmD. is the Chief Clinical Officer for ELK Benefit Strategies. Charity is responsible for clinical strategies, analytics, growth and retention, as well as strategic direction for ELK Benefit Strategies.
Charity is a strategic and results driven senior pharmacy executive with over 21 years of experience in pharmacy benefit management (PBM), pharmacy consulting and managed care. Her proven track record of growing pharmacy business units, business development, operational and technology improvement, fostering high performance teams, and development of solutions-oriented programs that contribute to company’s revenue growth, including new startup organizations. Charity oversees and manages all aspects of clinical decision making for ELK Benefit Strategies. Areas of focus also include Account Management strategies, Heath plan and payer benefits guidance, and clinical and operational strategies.
As a Healthcare strategist leader, Charity assists organizations with the development of clinical programs to drive pharmacy savings for clients, improve patient clinical outcomes and increase company’s revenue to stay ahead of the ongoing changes in the healthcare landscape. Charity also provides organizations support in evaluating various operational departments to improve efficiencies and quality, audit and assist with contracting of vendor agreements and enhance reporting to drive better insight to operational and drug trends.
Charity holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Doctorate in Pharmacy from Ohio Northern University with a course focus and clinical rotations on Pharmacoeconomics.
